Clickon Update & Security. Select Windows Security from the left sidebar. Click on Virus & threat protection. Under Virus & threat protection click on Manage settings. Under Exclusions click on Add or remove exclusions. Click on Add an exclusion. Select File. Select the .exe or executable file of Assassin’s Creed : Valhalla. Restart your PC.
AssassinsCreed Unity not launching. I had it launching a few months ago, but haven't opened it in months. AC Unity runs better on Steam OS anyway as Windows does something weird to the resolution, texture and text pixelation. Not familiar with modding AC. (Not actually a useful comment I suppose)

Ipurchased the game back in 2021 and am just launching it for the first time on my pc. I am able to play AC Odyssey just fine, no issues in launching the game. AC Syndicate though will not launch. It will show running for about 2 to 3 seconds before just showing the play button on Steam.
